This date serves as a reminder of our shared home — a planet that demands care, gratitude, and decisive action. As long as Earth continues to provide us with water, air, soil, and life, we are obliged to protect it as we would our own Mother.
Each year brings increasingly urgent warnings: climate disasters, resource depletion, and the accelerating loss of biodiversity. However, in the face of these challenges, we choose not to despair but take responsibility. It is precisely the responsible actions of individuals, communities, and nations that constitute the cornerstone of meaningful change.
This year, in observance of International Mother Earth Day, the Women's EcoSpace is launching a series of publications dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — 17 objectives designed to guide us toward a safer and more equitable future. Together, let us explore the current state of sustainable development in Ukraine in 2025 and consider what each of us can do for the Earth, for others, and ourselves.
Stay tuned for our upcoming posts — they will be accessible, actionable, and deeply inspiring.
